Latitude HR has been a dream of mine for many years, I love the variety of working across a range of clients and seeing the impact on people as organisations grow and learn.

My HR career spans 25 years across a range of industries within the public and private sector. During this time, I have worked directly for regional, national and global companies including Devon County Council, Marconi, Boots UK Ltd, Computershare, and Millennium and Copthorne hotels. My areas of specialism are organisational change, leadership learning, strategic recruitment, workforce planning, coaching, mentoring and facilitating.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, I also get to share my experience and knowledge as an Associate Lecturer for the University of Exeter Business School and the University of Plymouth through the People Professional apprenticeships and Organisational Behaviour degree module.

My approach as a consultant is to enable clients to move forward through building relationships and connecting directly with teams. My experience as a strategic HR Business Partner has taught me how to balance support and challenge to achieve better business outcomes.

As an advocate of a strength-based approach, I am fascinated to know why people think and behave as they do. Organisations will flourish in a culture that encourages collaboration and openness with strategic thinking and a determination to focus on purposeful change.

My first love is Psychology, which I studied at the University of Exeter, and I have continued to develop my knowledge in this field. I am on the British Psychological Society’s Register of Qualifications in Test Use and am accredited to deliver ability tests, Occupational Personality Questionnaires (OPQ) and the Leadership Circle Profile which is a 360° coaching tool.

I am married with three lively children, two easy going cats and live in sunny Devon.
